Growing your email list should be just as important as posting to social media every day - if not more so.
You DO NOT own your social media pages and you DO NOT own your followers! If a social media platform were to crash, how would you connect with your customers/clients?

So, now that you know how important it is to have an email list, now what?
There are three steps to ramp up your email list and today, I'm covering 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝟏 - 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐩𝐭-𝐢𝐧.
𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕'𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝒐𝒑𝒕-𝒊𝒏? It is something of value you give away in exchange for an email address.
We've all exchanged our email addresses for something that is of value to us. Whether it's a meal planning guide, a checklist, or a budgeting spreadsheet, we've all provided our email addresses to receive something for free.
𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐩𝐭-𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝟏, 𝟐, 𝟑!
① Identify your target audience and figure out what you have that they need! What problems do they face that you have the solution for? What do they struggle with and how can you help?
② Write down all of your ideas! You'll want to change your opt-in from time to time, so it's always a good idea to have a list started with ideas of things/services you can use as an Opt-in.
③ Start creating! You can design a downloadable or create a promotional piece for your free service in Canva or any other design platform you're comfortable with.
